1. Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address and login details.
  • Business information, such as brand name, website URL, business description, industry, target audience and content preferences.
  • Social media connection information, such as connected platform, page or account ID, page name, access token, token expiry date and publishing permissions.
  • Content information, such as generated posts, images, captions, schedules, approval status and publishing history.
  • Website and product information, when you ask Spreelo to analyze a website or create content based on products or services from that website.
  • Technical information, such as browser, device, IP address, logs, errors and usage activity.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide and improve Spreelo;
  • create social media content plans and post suggestions;
  • generate captions, images and campaign ideas;
  • connect to social media platforms selected by you;
  • publish approved content to connected social media accounts;
  • manage authentication, account access and security;
  • send service-related emails, such as login links, approval emails and operational notifications;
  • monitor errors, prevent abuse and keep the service reliable;
  • comply with legal obligations.

3. Social media integrations

When you connect a social media account, Spreelo may store access tokens and related account information so the service can publish content that you approve or schedule.

Spreelo only uses connected social media permissions to provide the features requested by you, such as reading available pages/accounts, storing the selected destination and publishing approved content.

You can disconnect social media accounts in Spreelo. You may also revoke Spreelo’s access directly from the relevant social media platform.

4. AI-generated content

Spreelo uses artificial intelligence services to help generate content, images, campaign ideas and content plans. Information such as your business description, website content, product information and content instructions may be processed by AI service providers for the purpose of generating output.

We do not intentionally include sensitive personal data in prompts, and users should not submit sensitive personal data unless necessary.

5. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable, we process personal data based on:

  • performance of a contract, when processing is needed to provide Spreelo;
  • legitimate interests, such as improving the service, preventing abuse and maintaining security;
  • consent, where required, such as for certain integrations or optional communications;
  • legal obligations, where applicable.

6. Sharing of information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Spreelo, including hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, authentication, AI generation and social media platform providers.

We do not sell personal data.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, prevent fraud or protect users and the service.

7. Data storage and retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Social media tokens are stored to keep connected accounts working. Generated content and publishing history may be stored so users can manage, review and reuse their content.

Users may request deletion of their account or personal data by contacting us.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration.

No online service can guarantee complete security, but we work to keep Spreelo secure and reliable.

9. International transfers

Spreelo may use service providers located in different countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
